Encore continues to cooperate with state Departments of Transportation, Universities and other agencies currently testing properties and uses of the E.L.F. (Engineered Lightweight Fill) block for civil engineering applications. Encore provides a civil engineering manual showcasing projects using the E.L.F. block and tests that have been performed. We recognize that accumulating and baling tires is a relatively easy task. The challenge comes when it is time to market the block. Encore tries to arm the customer with sufficient data to assist with this task. It is important that every project is properly designed and engineered to prevent any possibility of failure. Ed Drews of Encore has been providing conceptual designs for tire bale projects for more than 15 years. Every customer of Encore has access to conceptual project designs at no charge. Additional in depth project consulting is available for a fee.
